Skaters for Moore is a 501c3 charitable organization. Our mission WAS to build a permanent, safe, and fun skatepark in Moore County, for the action sports enthusiasts of the Sandhills & beyond, both young and old. We plan to accomplish this with grassroots fundraisers, corporate sponsorships, grants, and other public funding sources. WE DID IT!! As of 9.23.24, we broke ground on the park and will be opening on 12.13.24!

Skaters for Moore now shifts our focus to helping spread the positive effects skateboarding can have on people's lives by hosting events, sponsoring skate camps, teaching youth "Skatepark Etiquette", as well as community outreach to those that maybe economically disadvantaged. We will also lobby other local communities to enrich their town by adding places to skate in their public parks. In addition, we look forward to working with the Town of Southern Pines on Phase 2 Construction at the Elaine T Baillie Skatepark, 210 Memorial Park Ct.

Join us as we officially open the Southern Pines Elaine T Baillie Skatepark at Memorial Park. Speakers from the community, directly involved in this skatepark project will speak, we'll cut the ribbon, then skating will commence!
